It is located at the northern tip of the island. Bus No. 6 from the town centre will take you this museum and it only cost RM2.80 at the time of my visit. I was thirsty and was looking for water when I reached the museum but unfortunately there was no vending machine there, unlike other museums that I have visited. However, you can buy drinks from the Bird Park about 200 meters away, after paying the park's entrance fee of course! It is a surprisingly large campus, although the main building is not so big. Most of the parking spots were filled with police cars. The vacant ones behind the main building seemed to be blocking half of the road but I parked there anyway.  Outside the main building, there were exhibitions of vehicles such as PA-4 2220 patrol boat and Cessna U206 9M-PSC patrol aircraft. Next to the aircraft was a Oerlikon 20MM II SS naval gun, used by the marine police and was retired in 1998. There was another museum related to Orang Asli  that I posted previously . The difference is that museum is managed by the Department of Museum, while this one is managed by the Department of Orang Asli Development.  It is located along the old road leading to Pahang from KL, and some 30 minutes drive from KL's city centre.  I did see RapidKL buses cruising along the road but was unable to find out the bus number. After exiting the main road, a small road leads uphill and after 200m, I reached the Orang Asli Museum. It had eight Greek style pillars at it's left side, making it having a distinctive look to the other buildings in the area. The entrance was an archway that led to the courtyard. There was an oversized classic telephone at the courtyard as well as a cafe, which was closed when I went as it was Ramadan. The actual exhibits are in fact located at the floor above. The staircase is on the right side of the archway before reaching the courtyard. Along the staircase, there were pictures of previous Telecommunications Ministers of this country. It is also known as the Money Museum. Bank Negara is the central bank of Malaysia while the Sasana Kijang building that is located about 1km away from the bank's main office is mainly used by the bank to host regional and international events, among other things. The Museum and Art Gallery comprises of four floors and is located on the west wing of Sasana Kijang. The entrance is not obvious as the signboard is rather small and faces another side of the road.  The entrance is further to the right The floor plan of this museum was similar to the National Museum. It had four galleries, located at the left and right wing of the building that had two floors. There was a fifth gallery as well, but it was closed for renovation on the day I visited. The entrance ticket is for both these museums.  The entrance I was greeted by a nice diorama of a Malay village house. On the left was another diorama of a man making 'Wau', the traditional kite popular in Kelantan. There is no indicator of the starting point so the correct way is to turn left after the entrance. There is a section that explains about the origin and history of the Malay race, as well as the Malay culture in Malaysia.
